Dear {{customFields.573887}},

We hope you are well.

As an MIA cardholder, we would like to thank you for your continued support in working with healthcare organisations across the UK.

We have recently been asked by University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust to remind all MIA representatives of the importance of registering hospital visits before attending site.

Please be aware that the Trust closely monitors all visits to ensure only authorised representatives with approved appointments are accessing hospital departments. Representatives who attend without a valid appointment or who fail to register their visit through the MIA system may be refused access and could face further action in line with the Trust's access policy.

Your cooperation helps maintain a safe, secure and compliant environment for patients, hospital staff and industry representatives.

Before attending a hospital visit, please follow our top 10 tips:

1. Book in Advance

Please log your visit 24–48 hours before attending (unless it’s a genuine emergency or trauma case).
Early booking = smoother access + better coordination.

2. Wear Your MIA ID Badge

Your badge shows you’re approved, trained, and ready to be on site.
Make sure it’s visible at all times.

3. Check In & Out via the App

Download the MIA App: Get the app here

  • Check in when you arrive
  • Check out when you leave

It’s quick, easy — and helps keep hospitals safe and accountable.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and for helping us maintain the highest standards of compliance across participating healthcare organisations.
