Good afternoon

Thank you for signing up to receive updates about Botanical Place, West Byfleet
Site update - extended hours
As previously communicated, the site’s active hours were changed from 18:00 to 22:00 for the 22nd and 29th March. Based on the predicted workflow, we now envisage late working twice or possibly three times a week. The upcoming dates are Monday 17th April and Friday 21st April.

There are several factors which will influence this, not least adverse weather which makes precise scheduling difficult. We anticipate this level of work will continue until the late summer. However, if there is a period of extended favourable weather, we hope to complete the concrete pouring sooner.

These extra hours are required in order to complete a specific part of the concrete pouring programme. This involves smoothing and levelling the poured concrete while it is at a specific stage in its curing process. This is time sensitive meaning that once started, the process needs to be completed within the same working day.

Our communication

As you know, we will always try to keep our neighbours and the wider community up to date on the work we are doing. When complete, the centre of West Byfleet will be rejuvenated, with new shops and amenities, a vibrant public square, community spaces, public parking and, of course, 196 exciting new apartments creating independent living for older, local people. In order to finish this project, there is going to be some disruption during the construction and completion phases.

Please do let us know if you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to know more about what Botanical Place will bring to West Byfleet.
Introducing... Thrive Living

You may have noticed a change to our Facebook page. Retirement Villages Group is very excited to launch their new Thrive Living collection. Botanical Place is going to be the first in a new group of communities which are designed to regenerate town and village centres, providing an attractive lifestyle choice for older people who want to live in an urban area. Another essential characteristic of Thrive Living is that the amenities and outdoor spaces are accessible to everyone in the neighbourhood.
