I often joke that if I had known how hard and often lonely leadership is, that I might have chosen different life goals way back in third grade. There are hundreds if not thousands of leadership books, but I have yet to find one that explains just how hard leading is.
And, that's where Peer Groups come in. I have led Peer Groups for more than five years, and they provide a remarkable return on investment in terms of time, money, and emotional energy for CEOs, business owners, and other leaders.
A peer group provides a safe, confidential space to share leadership challenges and opportunities and get objective feedback from people who are also doing hard things.
After five years, I wanted to bring a more robust experience to my clients, and after vetting many partners, I settled on Vistage, the world's largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization.
