University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust would like to remind all suppliers of their use of the MIA System to manage and verify all those visiting their hospital sites.

They require all visiting commercial suppliers to any department or team within their hospitals to:

• Wear their MIA badge while on site.
• Ensure that they have pre-registered their visits through the MIA Appointment Booking System at least 48 hours in advance, unless called for urgent cases.
  

Any Service Engineers that visit UHB Sites should also note the requirement to report to the Medical Engineering Department and register to work onsite.
