| | UK: Fastest expansion of output since May 2023, but cost pressures intensify |
|
UK private sector activity expanded for the sixth consecutive month in April as a robust recovery in service sector output helped to offset a marginal decline in manufacturing production.
Output growth was supported by a solid upturn in new order volumes and a modest acceleration in staff hiring, in each case driven by the service economy.
April data indicated a steep increase in average cost burdens across the private sector, with the rate of inflation up sharply from March and the highest since May 2023.

Cyber Assessment Framework |
|
Cyber incidents can result in a number of different consequences, depending on the nature of the network and information systems targeted and intention of the perpetrators.
Circumstances in which the possible consequences of cyber incidents are extremely serious, such as manufacturing, generally require very robust levels of cyber security and resilience.
It is for these circumstances that the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has developed the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) collection.
