Dear {{customFields.573887}},

We hope you are well.

As an MIA cardholder, we would like to thank you for your continued support when working with healthcare organisations across the UK.

We have been asked by Stockport NHS Foundation Trust to remind all MIA representatives that all Tissue Viability visits to Stepping Hill Hospital and District Nurse Bases must be logged in the MIA App.

This requirement applies to every visit. Logging your visit in advance helps teams prepare for your arrival, supports a secure working environment, and ensures a smooth and efficient experience for everyone.

Before attending a hospital visit, please follow our top 10 tips:

1. Book in Advance

Please log your visit 24–48 hours before attending (unless it’s a genuine emergency or trauma case).
Early booking = smoother access + better coordination.

2. Wear Your MIA ID Badge

Your badge shows you’re approved, trained, and ready to be on site.
Make sure it’s visible at all times.

3. Check In & Out via the App

Download the MIA App: Get the app here

  • Check in when you arrive
  • Check out when you leave

It’s quick, easy — and helps keep hospitals safe and accountable.
