ProZero 15m Research Workboat

– New Design 2026

The ProZero Daughter Crafts are available for charter through Tuco

Tuco Marine Group presents the new 2026 design of the ProZero 15m Research Workboat (Design No. 5000-05-40-0) — an evolution of a proven platform, refined for modern offshore survey and scientific operations.

With an overall length of 15.75 meters and a shallow draft of approximately 0.73 meters, the vessel combines offshore performance with excellent accessibility in shallow waters. The updated design is tailored for fishery surveys, subsea mapping, and advanced data acquisition using both mounted and deployable sensor systems, while also supporting towing and surface diving operations.

Constructed in lightweight carbon fibre sandwich with PVC core, the hull and superstructure offer high strength, natural buoyancy, and improved onboard comfort. The walkaround cabin layout ensures safe movement on deck, while large bonded windows provide exceptional daylight and visibility for surveillance and research tasks.

Powered by twin inboard diesel engines with Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, the vessel reaches speeds above 35 knots and offers a cruise speed of approximately 28 knots. Integrated technical infrastructure, dedicated sonar mounts, A-frame, and advanced navigation and survey systems position the 2026 design as a highly capable and future-ready offshore research platform.

ProZero 11.5m FRDC – Strengthening Collaboration Offshore

The ProZero Daughter Crafts are available for charter through Tuco

As part of the continued collaboration between Tuco Marine Group and Lysgaard Shipholding A/S, we are pleased to introduce a new ProZero 11.5m Fast Rescue Daughter Craft (FRDC), developed to support reliable and efficient offshore operations.

The vessel is based on the well-proven ProZero platform, widely recognized for its lightweight composite construction, high structural strength, and excellent seakeeping performance. With an overall length of 11.5 meters and a beam of 4 meters, the deep-V hull ensures stability and operational confidence in demanding sea conditions. Configured to accommodate up to 26 persons including crew, the FRDC is well suited for ERRV support, standby duties, and offshore personnel transfer.

Equipped with twin Yanmar 4LV-250 engines, ZF 63 C gearboxes, and Alamarin Jet-245 waterjets connected via 300 mm cardan shafts, the vessel delivers speeds exceeding 30 knots along with precise maneuverability. The propulsion setup ensures rapid response capability and optimal handling — key factors in offshore rescue and support missions.

Designed in accordance with applicable SOLAS – Fast Rescue Craft requirements and aligned with DNV Craft standards, the FRDC incorporates structural watertight bulkheads and integrated composite fuel tanks (2 x 250 liters) bonded directly into the hull for enhanced safety and durability.

This addition reflects the strong partnership between Tuco Marine Group and Lysgaard Shipholding A/S, combining operational insight with advanced boatbuilding expertise to deliver high-performance daughter craft solutions tailored to the offshore sector.

Ministerial Visit at Tuco Marine Group

Tuco Photo Competition 2025 is here!

Three months ago, Tuco Marine Group had the pleasure of welcoming Morten Bødskov, Denmark’s Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, to our facilities in Faaborg.

The visit provided an opportunity to present how we design and manufacture high-technology ProZero USV platforms in Denmark — from advanced modular composite construction to scalable series production. Discussions focused on operations in demanding maritime environments, including offshore wind and energy service tasks, as well as surveillance of critical maritime infrastructure such as ports, subsea cables, and energy installations.

A key topic was the development of autonomous and remote vessel operations, enabling safe and efficient missions without crew onboard. The dialogue also addressed Danish export potential, local industrial development in Faaborg, and the role of lightweight composite vessels in supporting greener maritime solutions through reduced fuel consumption and future emission-reducing technologies.

At Faaborg Harbour, we conducted a live demonstration of our ProZero 8m ISR USV, showcasing autonomous and semi-autonomous capabilities integrated with advanced mission management systems for real-time track sharing and operational coordination.

We appreciated the constructive dialogue and the opportunity to highlight Danish innovation within autonomous maritime technology.

Bram van Dijke – Strengthening

ProZero in the Benelux Region

Tuco Marine Group is pleased to introduce Bram van Dijke as our ProZero representative in the Benelux region. Working closely with Tuco Marine Group, Bram supports the development and positioning of the ProZero Workboats platform across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Bram’s role is centered on strengthening collaboration between Tuco Marine Group and regional shipyards and operators. Acting as the local point of contact, he facilitates dialogue, aligns operational requirements with technical solutions, and helps ensure that ProZero projects move efficiently from initial discussions to final delivery.

With a solid technical background in shipbuilding and engineering, Bram contributes valuable operational insight to customer processes. Together with Tuco Marine Group, he focuses on understanding real mission requirements — ensuring that each ProZero vessel is not only specified correctly, but performs reliably in demanding conditions. This includes attention to vessel behavior in rough weather, structural durability, vibration levels, maintainability, and long-term operational efficiency.

Fluent in Dutch, German, and English, Bram strengthens Tuco Marine Group’s presence in the Benelux market and supports close, solution-oriented cooperation with customers and stakeholders.

We look forward to continuing the growth of the ProZero platform in the Benelux region in close collaboration with Bram.
