Hi {{customFields.573887}},

From Monday 4th November, essential maintenance work is being carried out within Theatres at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital for 1 week. During this period, access to Theatres will be restricted.

During this period, only essential representatives who are assisting surgeons with kit in a case will be granted access to Theatres.

The access route to Theatres will also change, with the new access via the staff car park door, at the back of ADCU, where deliveries currently go.

As this door is not monitored representatives will need to call the Theatre Reception desk to be let in. A message will be displayed on the door with telephone numbers.

It is imperative during this maintenance period that any unnecessary traffic is removed. Any representatives visiting surgeons or checking stock will need to postpone their visit until after this time.

The Trust thanks you for your cooperation whilst this takes place.

SOUTH WEST LONDON

We would like to remind representatives that St George's University Hospitals (including Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton) and Epsom and St Helier Hospitals (including Queen Mary's Hospital for Children), now use the MIA System.

We are also delighted to announce that Kingston Hospital and Croydon Health Services NHS Trust are now also working with MIA, and therefore, representatives will be expected to register their visits. Please ensure that your visits are logged as far in advance as possible to the sites that fall under each of these Trusts.

ROYAL HAMPSHIRE COUNTY

We we like to remind all cardholders of the use of MIA at Royal Hampshire County Hospital. Due to signal and Wi-Fi issues currently being experienced at the hospital that all cardholders ensure that they pre-register their visit on the MIA Portal before arriving at the Theatre department. By ensuring that they have done this in advance, it will reduce admission time to the department.
