We’re excited to announce that St Helens Hospital and Whiston Hospital (part of Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) are officially launching MIA in the following new areas: - St Helens Hospital
- Dermatology
- Diabetes
- Outpatients
- Sanderson Suite (for Day Case and MaxFax surgery)
- Whiston Hospital
- Mersey Regional Burns Unit (Ward 4D)
- Plastic Surgery (Ward 3A)
- Plastic Trauma Assessment Unit (TAU)
- Holbrook Unit
This rollout joins Theatres at both hospitals where MIA is already used to manage and verify all commercial suppliers and external visitors — including MedTech and Pharma reps, Service Engineers, and Clinical Trainers.
In addition to the above new departments, the Theatre Teams would like to remind all visitors about their Theatre Attire policy. Please see the link below: |
