We’re excited to announce that Aintree University Hospital (part of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) are officially launching MIA in Interventional Radiology!

This rollout sees the IR Team join Theatres, Endoscopy, Diagnostic Radiology and ITU where MIA is already used to manage and verify all commercial suppliers and external visitors — including MedTech and Pharma reps, Service Engineers, and Clinical Trainers.

? What You Need to Know – Action Required from 13th August 2025

The department will enforce a strict 'No Card, No Appointment, No Entry' policy for all external visitors. To ensure smooth access:

✅ Hold a valid MIA Membership

✅ Book all visits at least 48 hours in advance via the
MIA Appointment Booking System

✅ Download the MIA App

And wear your MIA ID badge during all on-site visits
