Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust are soon to open the highly anticipated Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre (KMOC) - an exciting new Theatre Complex for planned orthopaedic surgery.
Prior to the opening of KMOC, the Trust would like to request that all visiting representatives ensure they are registering their visits as far in advance as possible. Whilst KMOC is yet to go live on the MIA System, it is expected that representatives currently making visits to the Theatre Departments at both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals adopt this behaviour now in preparation for the opening of KMOC.
The Theatre Management Teams across both hospitals, and the Procurement Team, have expressed that any visiting representative not following the wishes of the department will be asked to leave.
Those who repeatedly ignore these wishes could be prevented future access to the Trust.
