University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust would like to issue a gentle reminder to visiting suppliers that support staff within their Theatre Departments at Queen Elizabeth, Solihull, Good Hope, and Heartlands Hospitals.

All suppliers who attend Theatres to provide clinical support must ensure that they have uploaded evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B to their MIA Profile, or you may be refused entry to the department.

Should you currently be undertaking a course of the vaccine, we ask you to upload each vaccination you receive, so that we can apply a note to your profile that you are mid-treatment.

In the event that you are a non-responder to the Hepatitis B vaccination, we again ask that you upload this to your profile, so that we are able to inform staff in the department of this fact, and ensure that your visit can continue without interruption.
