Hi {{customFields.573887}},

As mentioned when Harefield Hospital launched their use of the MIA system on 12th August 2024, we confirmed that we would keep you updated with the further roll out of the system at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

This time, we are pleased to announce that the Evelina London Children's Hospital will use the MIA Platform for visiting representatives from Monday 9th September within the following departments:

  • Operating Theatres
  • Day Surgery Unit
  • Cardiac Catheter Labs
  • Paediatric Interventional Radiology

All representatives that are visiting the hospital from Monday 9th will be expected to register visits via MIA, and are advised to ensure that these are registered 24 hours in advance.

Those visiting Theatres, Cath Labs and Day Surgery should ensure that they are also on the correct MIA Membership Level of Gold. For more information on this, please click here.

Please note, if you do not have an appointment arranged via MIA, you will be turned away. Cold calling and dropping in is expressly prohibited and will result in your removal from site. Those who repeatedly flout the rules face a ban from site, and potentially the wider Trust.

To register your visit, please select ‘Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust’ from the dropdown menu on www.miaweb.co.uk or your MIA App and then select 'Evelina London Children's Hospital'. Please ensure that you are wearing your MIA Card when attending the hospital to differentiate you from hospital staff.

Here at MIA, we look forward to the iminent launch of MIA at Royal Brompton Hospital, utilising the system from October 2024, along with Guy’s Hospital and St Thomas's Hospital by the end of the year. As soon as these hospitals launch their use of the system, we will notify you.

Best wishes,

The MIA Team
