Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust would like to remind all suppliers of the mandatory use of the MIA (Medical Industry Accredited) System to manage and verify all commercial representatives. This includes, but is not limited to, MedTech and Pharmaceutical Representatives, Service Engineers, and Clinical Trainers.

Please ensure that you:

• Hold a valid and in-date MIA Membership (Check your membership status or join MIA here).

• Register all visits through the MIA Appointment Booking System at least 48 hours in advance
  

• Download and use the MIA Smartphone App (Get the app here), and wear your physical MIA badge while on-sit

Additionally, the Trust has previously issued important guidance on the following areas:

• New product requests and trials

• Live registration on the NHS Supply Chain MIA register

• Access to theatre storerooms
