We have been asked to inform all representatives of an upcoming name change affecting North Bristol NHS Trust and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
From 1st July, these organisations will merge to form Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
As part of this change, the Trust is working to standardise working practices across all hospital sites. To reflect this on the MIA Portal and MIA App, the hospital names will be updated as follows:
- North Bristol NHS Trust will become Bristol NHS Foundation Trust: Southmead Hospital
- University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust will become Bristol NHS Foundation Trust: City and Weston
If you are unable to locate either hospital site within your MIA App following these changes, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team on help@miaweb.co.uk or 01732 920 900, and we'll be happy to help. |

What You Need to Know – Action Required: The Trust expect all commercial suppliers to have registered their visit as far in advance as possible. To ensure smooth access and to prevent any disruption to your planned visit: ✅ Hold a valid MIA Membership Check your membership status or join MIA here ✅ Book all visits at least 48 hours in advance (where possible) via the MIA Appointment Booking System ✅ Download the MIA App Get the app here And wear your MIA ID badge during all on-site visits |
