We are excited to announce that Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust are revising their use of MIA within all hospitals across the Trust. This will include Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance, St Michael's Hospital in Hayle, and the brand new St Austell Surgical Hub in St Austell.
Royal Cornwall Hospital in particular has also taken this time to expand use of the system to departments other than Theatres. These include:
- A&E
- Cardiac Catheter Labs
- Cardiology
- Critical Care
- Endoscopy
- and The Pain Clinic.
The Trust would like to ask all visiting representatives to register their appointments to their hospitals as far in advance as possible, and thank you for your anticipated cooperation. |

| | Whilst on the topic of areas outside of Operating Theatres, we are thrilled to announce that Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital have expanded their use of MIA to their Pathology Department.
As always, the hospital have asked that any representatives intending to visit are registering their appointments via MIA, effective immediately.

We are delighted to announce that Southampton General Hospital will also be revitalising their use of the MIA System within their Theatre Department.
As part of a phased approach, we are also working with Cath Labs and Technical Cardiology, so start registering your visits ahead of time to build the habit for the official launch of these areas! |

| | We we like to remind all cardholders of the use of MIA at Royal Hampshire County Hospital. Due to signal and Wi-Fi issues currently being experienced at the hospital that all cardholders ensure that they pre-register their visit on the MIA Portal before arriving at the Theatre department. By ensuring that they have done this in advance, it will reduce admission time to the department. |

We have been asked to remind all representatives that visitors to Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital Theatres are expected to check in via the QR Quick Check-In Poster, or MIA App when making visits to their Theatre Department. |
